February 20, Epicurus Day

I don’t celebrate the twentieth of every month but I do February 20 as Epicurus Day. I have cooked Hungarian lecso – a kind of ratatouille – for lunch and will have cheese and wine for dinner.

I talked to my children and some of my American friends a bit about Epicurus and how his followers celebrated the twentieth of every month and especially the Twentieth of February, since he was born at the beginning of that month.
