stress-FREE orientation: human or bovine?
Humans need a value-system and life-goals to orientate themselves by if they want to live a needs-based stress-FREE, truly happy life. Stress-FREEDOM can serve both as a life-goal and as a high value at the same time.
For physical orientation we can use a simple bovine compass orientated on the North-South axis:
BOVINE INTUITION - Cows Demonstrate Mysterious Inner Compass
Red deer and cows orient themselves on a North-South axis, showing a previously undocumented feel for points of the compass. German scientists discovered the strange alignment by analyzing Google Earth images of 308 pastures.

I have always felt that there was something human about cows. Now, why is the term “bovine” mostly used disparagingly e.g. by Nietzsche?

to be able to stay stress-free, basically, be able to free your mind from negative thoughts. you can’t be happy until you know how to cleanse your mind.
Absolutely right, “Jesse” (or “Elizabeth” or whatever the name of the person is, who is trying to decoy stress-FREEDOM seekers unto her or his site using a techy trick): The difference comes from HOW you are cleansing your mind. And not generally of “negative thoughts” but rather of vain desires resulting from faulty thinking. (Or of unfair internet practices:-)
There are thousands of gurus, consultants, advisors and other sales persons out there touting “self-help resources for body, mind, spirit, and prosperity”, “instant stress-relief” or stress-reduction methods, strategies and other nicely packed up and fabulously periced panaceas for doctoring around symptoms – labeled with whatever sounds catchy and can be sold, like 7 steps this, 11 steps that:-) see the page

I am following an entirely different path: I enable stress-FREEDOM seekers to tap into the unique stress-elimination METHODS practically used OVER 800 YEARS by hundreds of thousands of rational and decent people in the ancient Hellenistic and Roman world in their schools of philosophy – all based on learning and training for eudemonia (= happiness).
